ACE²-EU: BIP on Climate Change and Soil Innovations at LIK

From 4–8 May, Lietuvos inžinerijos kolegija (LIK) is hosting the ACE²-EU alliance's Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) “Soil Moisture Regulation in the Context of Climate Change”, focusing on the impact of climate change on soil, agricultural sustainability, and human health.

During the programme, participants explore the application of biological soil amendments (biochar, compost, and microbial inoculants), soil moisture management approaches, and ecotoxicity assessment methods.

The learning process includes lectures, seminars, laboratory experiments, and case studies addressing the impact of drought on agriculture as well as aspects of food safety.
