This study programme is a higher education qualification, which enables you to become a specialist in horticulture and horticulture, able to apply the modern features of horticulture and horticulture, the needs of organic farming and the requirements of high-quality food raw materials. Able to assess environmental trends and to organise and plan the establishment of specialised horticultural and vegetable farms, with knowledge of the regularities in the formation of yields and the quality of the produce grown, and the ability to set up and run an agricultural business, but also to engage in a broader range of activities, such as the cultivation and care of ornamental plants, the provision of services in urban horticulture, and consultancy, educational or non-formal training activities.

Students who choose this study programme have the opportunity to study under the Erasmus+ student mobility programme in higher education institutions in Austria, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Germany, Hungary, Latvia, Poland, Malta, Portugal and Turkey, as well as to carry out Erasmus+ traineeships in foreign companies.

The qualification gives you the right to work in horticulture, horticultural or ornamental farms and companies or to set up your own business.

Graduates can continue their studies at university and obtain a Master's degree.
