ABOUT THE PROGRAMME

The goal of the Construction Engineering program, which leads to a professional bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering, is to train specialists capable of working in various fields of construction engineering, managing the construction, repair, and maintenance of buildings, prepare building designs, perform cost estimates and geodetic measurements, evaluate construction products, plan, organize, and technically supervise construction works, and start their own businesses.

Students have a possibility to:

- study abroad under the Erasmus+ student mobility programme in higher education institutions of the EU, Norway and Turkey, as well as to perform Erasmus+ traineeships in foreign companies. 

LIK partner institutions

Graduates will be able to work in various fields of construction engineering, manage the construction, repair, and maintenance of buildings, prepare building designs, perform cost estimates and surveying, evaluate construction products, and plan, organize, and provide technical supervision of construction projects. They will also be able to start their own businesses, prepare business and operational plans for a company (or division), and analyze the economic business environment.

Students are awarded a Professional Bachelor's degree in Engineering upon completion of their studies and successful defense of graduation thesis. Graduates can continue their studies and obtain a master’s degree.

Citizens of Lithuania or other member countries of the European Union (EU) or European Economic Area (EEA) and their family members, non-EU and non-EEA nationals granted a right of permanent residence in Lithuania, stateless persons and Lithuanian nationals residing abroad can apply through the LAMA BPO information system and can be accepted to the state-funded study places or claim for scholarships in accordance with the procedures established by the applicable legislation.

LIK has one intake per year for studies commencing from September 2nd.
