1. Mission
To provide young people with the opportunity to gain an insight into how businesses operate.

2. Objectives
To help young people understand the specific features of business operations by analysing real-life business situations.
To share a range of personal experiences from the business environment.

3. Project Participants
Active and talented students from Lithuanian colleges and universities.

4. Selection Process
Students participate in teams of three. There are no restrictions regarding age, degree programme, mode of study or year of study.

The selection process consists of two types of tasks:

Analysis of a business case study (online discussion).
Development of a business case study.
Teams can familiarise themselves with the situation by reading the case description they receive. They are given 30 minutes to familiarise themselves with the situation and identify the problem. The situation is then discussed with a moderator in the form of a video discussion lasting 20–25 minutes.

Video discussion structure:

2–3 minutes – introductions and getting acquainted
10–12 minutes – analysis and discussion
5–7 minutes – proposed solutions
3–5 minutes – summary
The video discussions on the business cases will take place from 7 September to 9 October 2026.

Student teams prepare their own business case based on the example of the case they analyse in the first stage and following the provided case preparation guide.

Business cases will be developed from 9 to 16 October 2026.

Tasks are assessed using a points-based system. Each part is worth a maximum of 50 points, giving a maximum total of 100 points.

5. FINAL EVENT
The final stage is an inter-team business case analysis event in which students analyse cases created by other teams and receive an assessment from the judging panel.

Participants

20 teams, consisting of three students each. The teams represent different educational institutions.

Event format

Business cases are allocated to the teams at random during the event. Each team receives a case description, which they analyse by reading the case, identifying the problem, personal dilemma and business aspects, and preparing proposed solutions. Teams are given 60 minutes for the analysis.

The presentations take place in two separate spaces, with 10 teams (30 students) in each space.

Presentations are organised in sessions involving two teams that have analysed the same case. During the presentation, team members outline the problem presented in the case and propose solutions.

Each team is given 4 minutes to present its analysis and proposed solutions, followed by 10–12 minutes for discussion. Each session lasts 90 minutes in total.

The judging panel consists of four business experts who provide feedback on the presentations and ask questions.

The date of the final event will be confirmed at a later stage.
