Invitation: A1.1 Basic Lithuanian Language Course

Would you like to take your first confident steps in the Lithuanian language? Join our A1.1 Basic General Lithuanian Language Course, designed for complete beginners who want practical language skills and a friendly, supportive learning environment.

This course focuses on real-life communication, helping you understand and use Lithuanian in everyday situations—from simple conversations to basic cultural insights. The course materials are based on the official examination requirements to pass the beginner level exams organized by the National Education Agency (NŠA).  

Course Format

  • Level: A1.1 (Beginner)
  • Schedule: Twice a week
  • Starting date: 3rd February
  • Duration: evenings (days to be determined), 2 hours per class, 64 hours in total
  • Learning mode:
    • February–March: Online classes
    • April–May: Face-to-face classes
  • Group size: Up to 8 participants
    (The group will be formed with a minimum of 5 participants.)

What You Will Receive

  • A certificate confirming course completion and covered content
    (Please note: this is not an official state language certificate.)

During the course, participants will cover the following topics:

  • Lithuanian alphabet and pronunciation basics
  • Greetings, introductions, and polite expressions
  • Numbers, dates, time, and basic schedules
  • Everyday situations: shopping, cafés, ordering food and drinks
  • Directions and places in the city
  • Basic grammar structures (present tense, simple sentence patterns)
  • Common verbs and essential vocabulary for daily life
  • Introduction to Lithuanian culture and everyday customs

Course Fee

  • 300 EUR per person
