From 5 to 9 October, Lietuvos inžinerijos kolegija HEI (LIK) will host two international ACE²-EU Alliance programmes for students – the Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) “Development of Engineering Skills: Racing for the Future” and the Flavour School “Mobility Implementation in Sustainable Smart Cities”.
The Blended Intensive Programme “Development of Engineering Skills: Racing for the Future” is designed to develop engineering skills through motorsport and racing car technologies. During the programme, students will deepen their knowledge of racing car design, aerodynamics, data analysis, racing strategy and safety, while taking part in practical activities, laboratory sessions and track testing. The programme will combine theoretical engineering knowledge with its practical application and teamwork.
The Flavour School “Mobility Implementation in Sustainable Smart Cities” will focus on smart and sustainable mobility in modern cities. Working in international interdisciplinary teams, students will explore real-world transport and mobility challenges, develop innovative solutions and examine how modern technologies and data-driven approaches can contribute to creating more efficient, sustainable and people-centred cities.
Both programmes will bring together students and lecturers from ACE²-EU partner institutions, with activities taking place at LIK and at other practical activity locations in Kaunas and beyond.
The detailed programmes for both events are provided below.
