From 18–22 May in Stip (North Macedonia), at Goce Delcev University, a Flavour School on fast fashion is taking place for students of the ACE²-EU Alliance.
The programme focuses on sustainable solutions in the textile and fashion sector, exploring fast fashion systems, the environmental and social impacts of textile waste, circular economy principles, and the role of cultural heritage in building resilient communities. Students work with real challenges provided by local partners – the Municipality of Stip and the company “DATA TEX LLC”.
In Stip, intensive hands-on activities are taking place, ranging from workshops and meetings with stakeholders to territorial analysis and the examination of real-world challenges. In teams, students develop sustainable, culturally sensitive textile and design concepts and present initial solutions for feedback.
