ACE²-EU: LIK Students Take Part in the ABC Programme in Gdańsk

On 8 June, the ACE²-EU Applied Blended Challenge (ABC) programme “Fruit and Vegetables – Sustainable Cultivation, Diet and Health Impact” officially began at the Medical University of Gdańsk, Poland.

During the first day of the programme, participants, including students from Lietuvos inžinerijos kolegija, were introduced to the course objectives and planned activities, while international student groups presented their national food cultures. The presentations highlighted regional products, traditional fruits and vegetables, and the dietary characteristics of different European countries.

Later, students took part in project development workshops, where they began designing social campaign concepts aimed at promoting fresh fruit and vegetables as healthier alternatives to processed foods. In the coming days, participants will engage in laboratory work, study visits, and further development of their international projects.
