From 25–29 May, the Santarém Polytechnic University (Portugal) is hosting the ACE²-EU Alliance Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) “Designing Social Good: Bridging Sustainability and Project Management”.
At the School of Education in Santarém, international participants began the first day with introductory activities. Students and lecturers from different ACE²-EU partner universities presented their institutions during the “ACEperience” session, followed by team-building activities and creativity workshops aimed at exploring the context of social challenges. The day concluded with the “Taste of Culture” activity, which encouraged cultural exchange and informal networking among participants.
On the second day, the focus was on social welfare project management and sustainability solutions. Students attended theoretical lectures on social welfare and project management, took part in creativity sessions where they developed innovative solutions, and analysed stakeholder engagement. The afternoon was dedicated to group work and mentoring sessions, during which teams presented their initial project ideas. The day ended with a cultural tour of the city.
