The Societal Partnerships and Cultural Engagement (SPACE) Centre announced a significant milestone for the ACE²-EU Alliance – the launch of one of the Centre’s operational units, the Social Impactors. This initiative brings together experts, practitioners, and stakeholders from academia, industry, government, and civil society to address pressing socio-economic challenges.
Key focus areas of the Social Impactors:
-
Culture & Diversity (Carinthia University of Applied Sciences, CUAS, Austria) – develops understanding of multi-, inter-, and transcultural dimensions of culture and addresses diversity-related challenges.
-
Social Well-Being (Santarém Polytechnic University, IPSantarém, Portugal) – explores the role of social well-being in health and society, considering both objective and subjective dimensions, and analyzes social relations, culture, societal dynamics, and governance issues.
-
Respect & Dignity (Francisco de Vitoria University, UFV, Spain) – advances understanding of human inherent worth and its expression in society, focusing on interpersonal relationships, group identity, and sense of belonging. Activities are grounded in human rights principles and informed by philosophical and anthropological perspectives.
-
Gender Equity (Latvian Academy of Culture, LAC, Latvia) – promotes gender equity, taking into account diverse needs and ensuring that support is tailored to specific circumstances rather than applied uniformly.
We invite all interested participants to join the activities of the Social Impactors!
