From 26 to 30 October, Constantin Brâncuși University in Târgu Jiu, Romania, is hosting the ACE²-EU Alliance Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) "Shaping Europe's Future Together: Perspectives on Global Challenges", attended by Lietuvos inžinerijos kolegija students Domantas Grybauskas and Laurynas Matulaitis, together with staff member Ingrida Bukantaitė.
The programme explores how contemporary global challenges affect Europe's economy, institutions, legal systems and society. Particular attention is given to sustainable and responsible business practices, public governance, leadership, digital transformation, legal regulation and cooperation between European countries. During the on-site week, participants are taking part in interactive workshops, expert lectures, discussions and case studies.
Working in international teams of students and staff, they are exploring different perspectives on Europe's future, analysing social and economic developments and identifying ways to strengthen European resilience, inclusion and sustainable development. The programme also incorporates scenario analysis and collaborative solution development methods, enabling participants not only to discuss current challenges but also to formulate practical recommendations.
At the end of the week, international teams will present their proposals on how European institutions, businesses and society could respond more effectively to the changing global environment.
