On 1–2 June 2026, Santarém Polytechnic University hosted the Rectors and Presidents Steering Group meeting of the ACE²-EU Alliance.

The working meeting brought together the senior leaders of the partner institutions to discuss strategic planning and strengthen institutional cooperation within the framework of European higher education. The event provided an opportunity to review the alliance’s progress, discuss future priorities, and advance joint initiatives among the partner universities.

Hosting the meeting reflected the internationalisation strategy of Santarém Polytechnic University and its active engagement in European networks of excellence, further reinforcing its commitment to collaboration, innovation, and the development of the European Higher Education Area.
