ACE²-EU: ACE-SCHOLAR Participants Explored Cognitive Abilities with LIK Experts

On 29 June, a team of lecturers from Lietuvos inžinerijos kolegija – Dr Giedrė Adomavičienė, Mindaugas Naudžiūnas, and Gabrielė Ivanovaitė – delivered the “Cognitive Abilities” training session as part of the ACE²-EU Alliance’s ACE-SCHOLAR programme.

During the session, participants explored human cognitive processes and discussed the principles of learning, thinking, decision-making, behaviour, communication, and problem-solving in a variety of social, professional, and technological contexts. The training also examined the interaction between human thinking, society, culture, and emerging technologies, while fostering creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills that are essential for research activities.

ACE-SCHOLAR is the ACE²-EU Alliance’s researcher capacity-building programme, consisting of ten thematic modules delivered by experts from the partner universities. Training materials and learning activities are available through the Moodle virtual learning environment. Participants who successfully complete the modules receive digital skills badges (Micro Learning Opportunities – MLOs) and are eligible to earn ECTS credits.
