From 31 August to 4 September, the ACE²-EU Alliance Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) “Embodied Dialogues for Change” is taking place in North Macedonia, with Lietuvos inžinerijos kolegija students Nedas Jakubonis and Tadas Žižys taking part.

The programme focuses on dialogue as a way of gaining a deeper understanding of different experiences, perspectives and changes taking place in society. Participants are encouraged to view dialogue not only as a means of communication but also as a process shaped by personal experiences, human connection and the ability to listen to and understand others.

On the first day, students were introduced to the programme themes and the experiences of textile workers, which serve as a basis for creative activities. Working in international groups, participants are taking part in practical workshops where workers’ testimonies and archival materials are interpreted through performance, visual art and written work.

The programme will conclude on 4 September with a public performance installation and exhibition at the Youth Cultural Centre (MKC) in Skopje, where the experiences of textile workers and issues relating to workers’ rights will be presented through creative forms of expression.
