From 6–10 July, Constantin Brâncuși University of Târgu Jiu (Romania) is organising the ACE_RISE international volunteering programme within the ACE²-EU Alliance, with participation from student from Lietuvos inžinerijos kolegija Md Shafiqul Islam. The programme brings together volunteers from Lithuania and Romania for activities promoting cultural exchange, community engagement, and social involvement.

The volunteering activities are taking place in the Polovragi community, where participants are working together with local children and residents to preserve cultural heritage and celebrate local traditions. Through various practical activities, volunteers contribute to community initiatives, encourage intergenerational dialogue, and strengthen intercultural cooperation.
